Adventure On Parks
Subaru Canada is dedicated to helping protect Canada’s natural resources and the outdoor playground of national and provincial parks that span the country. To promote expeditions in parks across the nation, Subaru Canada is proud to continue the Subaru Wilderness Parks Canada Discovery Pass program. These and other programs forge a closer bond with Subaru owners and help preserve the natural environment along the way.
Subaru Parks Pass Incentive Program
Since 2021, Subaru Canada has provided free Parks Canada Family/Group Discovery Passes with every eligible new vehicle purchase. These passes allow new Subaru owners to explore the more than 80 national parks, national historic sites, and national marine con-servation areas that make up this fantastic network. The passes provide admission to amazing destinations and represent a gateway to nature, history, and over 450,000 km² of memories. At Subaru Canada, the focus is on pursuing uncommon adventures in vehicles that are engineered with uncommon capability.
Parks Ambassador Program
Subaru Canada is proud to continue its partnerships with the British Columbia Parks Foundation, Ontario Parks and Parks New Brunswick through the support of their Park Ambassador Programs. These programs connect visitors at all experience levels with na-ture through education and planned activities. The programs also provide guidance and support to first-time campers eager to learn how to better explore the great outdoors. To further strengthen these partnerships, Subaru Canada will provide digital media support to encourage the discovery, preservation and protection of Canada’s wilderness.
The Leave No Trace Pledge
Subaru Canada has partnered with Leave No Trace Canada to help preserve and protect the country’s parks and wilderness. Under this partnership, Subaru owners are encouraged to read about the Leave No Trace principles, map out that next great adventure and hit the road.
The seven Leave No Trace principles are:
- Plan ahead and prepare
- Travel and camp on durable surfaces
- Dispose of water properly
- Leave what you find
- Minimize campfire impacts
- Respect wildlife
- Be considerate of others
To support Subaru owners and the natural environment further, Subaru Canada is encouraging everyone to take the Leave No Trace Pledge to abide by these principles, then share their adventures on social media and tagging #LNTCanPledge.
For every owner who takes action, Subaru Canada will plant a tree in an environmentally sensitive area of the country.
